11 January 2022 - 14 January 2022
The largest EAWOP event is the biennial congress. Originally scheduled for May 2021, the next congress will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, 11-14 January 2022. Recently the congress has been attracting up to 2000 delegates from across Europe as well as a substantial contingent from outside Europe including a growing number from the USA. It is the premier meeting for academics and practitioners across Europe. And after the restrictions on travel over the last year, the opportunity to meet people in practice and share ideas is very attractive.
The Congress theme is: Interventions at Work – Integrating Science and Practice. So in putting the programme together the congress organisers have been looking at ways of bringing together scientists and practitioners as well as highlighting many of the innovations of the last two years. There is a strong invited programme of speakers including Keynotes, Current Issues, Symposia and Panel Discussions. Keynotes are announced via the congress website http://www.eawop2022.org and Professor Alex Haslam is the first to be listed. His work on “identity leadership” has had a big impact on thinking in this area.
