The 2024 conference, themed 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸: 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦, was organized by Universiteit Utrecht. The day was kicked-off with a very inspiring keynote by Jessica de Bloom, followed by many interesting presentations on various topics (such as leadership, well-being and burnout, career development, and digitalization in the workplace – to name just a few) and a practitioner session on psychological safety hosted by Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP).

During the closing ceremony, the yearly Best Paper Award was handed to Emma Gerritsen for her paper on destructive leadership behavior through the eyes of leaders themselves. Furthermore, the biannual Best Dissertation Award was won by Marvin Neumann for his dissertation titled ‘Overcoming algorithm aversion in personnel selection and admissions decisions’. Also, there was an honourable mention for Yuri S. Scharp, who was runner-up with his dissertation titled ‘Playful work design: Homo Ludens Faber’. Congratulations all on these amazing achievements!
