About us

The WAOP 'Working Community of researchers in Work & Organizational Psychology' is an association that stimulates Work & Organizational psychological research in the Netherlands and the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. This concerns both applied and more fundamental research that relates to issues of work, organizational or personnel psychology. Promoting collaboration between scientists and professionals working in this field is an explicit goal for the WAOP.

The WAOP collects and distributes relevant information, in particular through the periodic newsletter 'A&O-Items'. It contains information about Dutch A&O Psychology, WAOP members, theme meetings and conferences at home and abroad. All WAOP members receive 'A&O items'.

The WAOP collaborates with, among others, the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP), for example in the release and distribution of "A&O Items". Furthermore, the WAOP is a constituent member of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychologists (EAWOP).
