The WAOP aims to support junior academics (current PhD students and those who completed their PhD since 2021) in making scientific insights engaging and accessible to both our members and the general public. This year, we are awarding a budget of €1,000 to one eligible candidate to translate research findings into accessible and attractive formats, such as videos, animations, or images.

How to apply

Submit a proposal of approximately half a page, including:
– Your name and eligibility status
– What you plan to spend the funds on
– How your project will make scientific insights interesting and relevant to WAOP members and the public
– Your plan for disseminating the translated research

Reimbursement will be provided based on actual expenses, and receipts will be required.
