WAOP Conference 2025: a big thanks to everyone who contributed!

On the 21st of November, the 2025 edition of the WAOP Conference took place in Nijmegen, organized by Radboud University. We look back on again an amazing event, bringing together academics and practitioners interested in sharing the latest advancements in organizational psychology and related fields.

The conference, themed Strong Foundations, Sustainable Future, was packed with interesting presentations, valuable practitioner sessions and two inspiring keynotes by Wilmar Schaufeli and Anita Keller.

Congratulations to Daan Fris, who won the Best Paper Award with his paper Learning by Work Design: How Interships Foster Vocational Identity Fit and Misfit Clarity.

During the closing ceremony, we also said goodbye to Marianne van Woerkom, who is stepping down from our board. Marianne has been a board member for seven years, the last three of which as chair. She is passing on the baton to Djurre Holtrop, who will be succeeded by our new board member Lara Solms.

A big thanks to Laura Fruhen, Mara B., Sharon Reuselink, Sabine Geurts, Brigitte Claessens, and Work, Health, & Performance – Radboud University for the organization of this year’s conference. And thanks to all presenters, the keynote speakers, and everyone who attended for making this edition another great success.

We hope to see you again at the WAOP Conference 2026, which will be organized by Erasmus University Rotterdam!
