On 6 and 7 October ’22, 40 academics and practitioners gathered to discuss ‘AI and Machine-Learning Algorithms in Personnel Recruitment, Selection, and Assessment’.

Key notes by Marcus Langer and Marise Born opened the two days of the small group meeting. Next, on the first day, academics presented research to each other. On the second day, academics gave short teasers of their research and practitioners presented their work.

Both days were filled with constructive dialogue. The meeting was highly appreciated by all participants, one commented “Great event, really appreciated the intent to bridge / connect academics and practitioners.”
